    Dr. Laurence Agénor

    CO-FOUNDER & CLINICAL DIRECTOR

    PILATES & BARRE INSTRUCTOR

    Dr. Agénor is a distinguished specialist in orthopedics, dance medicine, pelvic health, clinical Pilates, and manual therapy. Her passion lies in helping patients suffering from chronic pain rediscover the joy of movement. As a dancer and former dance teacher, she is also passionate about helping performing artists reduce their risk of injury while continuing to do what they love.

    Dr. Agénor seamlessly incorporates Pilates and weight training into her sessions, empowering clients with knowledge for lasting wellness. Her holistic, tailored approach ensures every client's unique needs are met.

    Additionally, Dr. Agénor imparts her expertise as a Pilates and Barre instructor at The Wellness Den, blending her physical therapy background into her signature, dynamic classes. With unwavering dedication, she leads individuals toward improved physical well-being and a higher quality of life.

    Originally from Martinique, Dr. Agénor is fluent in both English and French. She enjoys taking dance classes, photography, Pilates, traveling, meditating, trying new restaurants, and spending time with loved ones.

    Dr. Natalie Bravo

    PHYSICAL THERAPIST & PILATES INSTRUCTOR

    Fluent in both English and Spanish, Natalie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a mission to revolutionize the populations that receive physical therapy and the way individuals experience rehabilitation.

    She takes into account both the patient’s anatomy and physiology as a whole in order to provide a comprehensive and individualized approach that nurtures mind and body.

    As a CSCS certified professional, Pilates Instructor, and life-long participator in exercise, she upholds the idea of utilizing movement as an effective tool and powerful source of healing.

    In addition to her experience in orthopedics, she has also garnered experience in addressing individuals with pelvic health disorders and providing care for pre/postnatal patients.

    Committed to lifelong learning, her pursuit of knowledge ensures that her patients will receive up to date, innovative and evidence based treatments that aim to restore wellness and recovery.

    Dr. Katie Kernoschak

    PHYSICAL THERAPIST & PERSONAL TRAINER

    Katie is a New York State licensed Physical Therapist, with interests in orthopedics, functional strength training, dance medicine, and sports performance. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University Brooklyn, she has a unique passion for working with dancers and athletes, helping them recover from injuries and enhance their performance.

    Having a background in dance, Katie understands the physical demands and nuances of movement in this art form. She integrates this knowledge into her practice, focusing on tailored rehabilitation programs that promote strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

    Throughout her career as a physical therapist and personal trainer, Katie has worked in various settings, including outpatient clinics and sports facilities, where she has successfully guided patients and clients through their recovery and fitness journeys. Her holistic approach combines hands-on treatment with strength training techniques, empowering individuals to achieve their personal fitness goals.

    Outside of work, Katie enjoys weightlifting, Pilates, taking dance classes, going to concerts, hiking, and exploring the city, further fueling her dedication to wellness and movement. She believes in the power of physical therapy not just as a means to recover, but as a pathway to enhance performance and improve quality of life.

    Paris is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist who specializes in strength and conditioning, pelvic health and Pilates. Paris has a passion for helping individuals achieve long-lasting strength, mobility, and overall wellness. 

    Paris combines Pilates-based movement with evidence-based physical therapy techniques to address the root causes of pain, improve body alignment, and promote functional movement. Her goal is to empower her patients to take control of their health through mindful movement, strength-building exercises, and a focus on injury prevention.

    Paris, a Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist (CSCS) with over 6 years of experience as a personal trainer, integrates her expertise to offer a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation and overall fitness.

    In her free time, Paris enjoys singing with her band, weight lifting, cooking and watching movies with her friends. She is passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and loves sharing that enthusiasm with her patients.

    As an experienced Office Manager, Aliza thrives at creating organized and efficient workspaces, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, fostering a collaborative environment and always greeting everyone with a smile. With strong skills in multitasking, problem-solving, and communication, Aliza bring a proactive approach to managing schedules, coordinating teams, and overseeing administrative tasks.

    Outside of work, Aliza loves spending time on creative hobbies like crochet, pottery, and dancing—they’re a great way to unwind and stay inspired! Aliza also hopes to take her passion for movement a step further by becoming a Barre instructor, blending fitness and fun to help others feel their best!

    Jennifer's journey with Cynergy began a decade ago. Since then, she's been a driving force behind our growth, taking us from a single clinic to a dynamic network of six in New York City.

    Her rise to COO is a testament to her knack for organization, a keen eye for detail, and her personal passion for wellness. She applies these qualities to every aspect of the Cynergy brand and oversees the success of every individual clinic and the company as a whole.

    Jenn enjoys the finer things in life, but above all, guiding her team towards excellence—both personally and professionally.

  • Rachel Jambois Pilates Instructor

    Rachel Jambois

    PILATES INSTRUCTOR

    Rachel is a former professional dancer with the Pennsylvania Ballet who has been practicing Pilates for over 20 years. She loves helping people gain awareness and appreciation for their bodies.

    In addition to being a Pilates instructor, she is currently pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Hunter College.

    Laura Dalesme

    PILATES INSTRUCTOR

    Laura (she/her) is a French-American certified vinyasa yoga and Pilates teacher. Her teaching journey began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay in 2017. After returning from the Peace Corps, Laura completed a 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training in France. She has taught yoga in Belgium and France. In 2021, she moved to New York City to train as a Pilates instructor at Core Pilates and Good Day Pilates. She has also trained as a prenatal/postnatal Pilates teacher and as a birth doula. Her classes are infused with positive affirmations and functional movement so we can enjoy longer, healthier and more balanced lives.

    Christine (she/her) started her professional career as a contemporary ballet dancer in NYC while receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Throughout her life as a dancer, Christine focused on body and mind wellness to help sustain the physical demands of her career. This search for balance brought her to practice yoga and ultimately find her next passion. Since becoming a licensed yoga and Pilates teacher, she has taught in a variety of settings for over 10 years. From group classes to private instruction, supporting clients of all ages and abilities. She specializes in body awareness, injury prevention, and recovery.

    Upon retiring from dancing, Christine created Align at Work – a company founded with the goal of bringing restorative movements to the workplace. Her curriculum both in the workplace and in the studio fosters personal education, healthy alignment, posture strengthening, and mindful techniques that promote alignment between the brain and the body. After all, your body is made to move.
